Changes for the 2009 G 650 Xcountry at a glance:

For Model Year 2009 the G 650 Xcountry gets a host of changes. The most obvious and most significant is a new color called Sunset Yellow/ White Aluminum Metallic (N31).

To make the bike more comfortable, there are several new features. First, the brake and clutch levers are now adjustable. The brake lever can be set in 5 positions and the clutch lever can be set in 4 positions. Second there is a new lower seat height that is between 1.6 and 2.0 inches lower than the old bike! The new seat height range is 31.5 inches to 32.3 inches. This compares to 33.1 inches to 34.3 inches on the prior model.

In order to facilitate the lower seat height there is an all new rear subframe made of steel which features welded on passenger foot pegs as opposed to an aluminum subframe with bolted on pegs on the previous model. The new subframe also means that a new top case and top case rack will be offered as accessories further enhancing the all around capability of the G 650 Xcountry!

Optional equipment consists of ABS (524) with a retail price of $900. The 2009 G 650 Xcountry will be available in May 2008 with the first units arriving in our showroom in early summer.
