This is where the BMW Motorrad engineers got to build their own off-road dream: a 1200 cc flat twin with 105 bhp and 115 Nm, combined with 175 kg of dry weight as a result of uncompromising lightweight construction and components of the very highest quality. The HP2 Enduro is the most consistent serial production off-road flat twin ever. Highly robust and perfectly prepared for its purpose. Powerful, stable and fascinatingly rideable. The fully adjustable chassis consisting of upside-down fork with travel-related damping (WAD) at the front and the super-light BMW Motorrad Air Damping System at the rear ensures unique handling and the very finest traction. And that's not only off the road: with the 17" set of road wheels provided as standard, this motorcycle is transformed into a true asphalt racer: the appropriate road tires and adapted brakes make for a stupendous performance. With its low center of gravity and gentle power delivery, the high-torque flat twin engine provides easy handling over all surfaces. The torsionally stiff tubular space frame is derived from rally racing; many other details show how motor racing and off-road professionals left their mark in developing this bike.
